- Difficulty : This is an initiation level canyon that does not demand any prior experience, a good physical condition is recommended in order to make the most out of this activity.

Canyoning is a sports activity, each participant must know how to swim, you must be aware that the group will evolve in a specific environment which can be dangerous. Despite the presence of an instructor, an accident may occur and the instructor may not be held responsible for it.
No jump is required.

All about the Baracci canyon
The Baracci canyon is the unmissable activity in Propriano-Sartene region. Easy access from Ajaccio or Bonifacio, it takes only 20 minutes from Propriano.
The granitic Baracci Massif with its red colour and the surrounding vegetation offer outstanding and unique landscapes.
This descent, playful and original, is accessible to any levels of practice.
Suitable to families and children from the age of 7 (accompanied, abled to swim well enough to be self-sufficient), it remains true that the Baracci is a real canyoning tour with nice jumps from 2 to 8 meters high (all can be surrounded if needed), natural slides, abseilings and zip line ending in the water of course.
As a crowning final, the tour will finish with a jump or an abseiling in a real natural pool.
The descent lasts around 2 hours.
The icing on the cake : there's only a short approach walk (5 minutes) to get into the swing and start the first jumps.
However, take note that a 20 minutes return walk will be necessary to go back to your vehicle.
During the descent, no jump is obligatory. They will be surrounded or abseiled if necessary. The highest rappel of the tour is 10 meters.
The safety during the whole activity will be guaranteed by our national certified monitors.
