From the village of Canaglia, not far from the Vizzavona pass, we follow the Manganellu river and its magnificent natural crystal clear swimming pools.

The ascent is quiet on the famous "Mare e mare Nord" path that we take. The Manganellu offers us its basins all along the route where you can swim or soak your feet.
The shaded path leads us to the superb "Cascade du Meli" and the GR20 for a last small ascent to the "Bergeries de Tolla".

This hike is an opportunity to discover the specific nature of this region, its culture and history, but also to enjoy swimming in the clear mountain waters of the basins.

Duration : 1 day
Level : Adaptable to the group level
Departure : Every Thursday in summer
Welcome : Meeting with the guide at the Tattone station at 9:30 am.
End : at the same place around 5pm.
Mentoring : by a state-certified mountain guide
Group size : for individuals and groups - Maximum 15 people

Essential equipment : Hiking shoes, sunglasses with highly filtered lenses, cap, 1 jersey, sunscreen, sweater and waterproof jacket, full canteen (1.5 litres minimum) and small backpack.

Price : 25 € per person

Traditional picnic (optional 15€/person) : during the hike. It is made from quality local products, we take particular care in the choice of our products (bastelle, local charcuterie, Corsican cheese, fig jam, fruit).
